This is the point where my husband and I both freak out and start checking to see if there's a spider sitting on one of our shoulders shooting webs around lol

So, it's only been like 3 days since I moved a piece of plywood that I found in the yard and put it in the turkey shed, leaning against the wall for a nest. I know my birds are WAY to young to lay but I had nothing better to do with it so I just threw it there. We'll, today, I happened to have this revelation that I haven't gotten any blue eggs in a few days. Sure enough, I checked that nest in the turkey coop and there's a neatly formed nest in the back with 2 pretty blue eggs in it lol. That Sky, she's killing me lol! I guess in there is better than off in the woods somewhere though.

They sure love their hiding spots!
The roses are still blooming.

Stunning!!!

This is what happens when I attempt to lounge in the hammock with a book. I swear, this boy is persistent about his lovins and attention! He'll even poke and peck at my arms with his break until I put them in the right place (cradling him). Such a spoiled brat!

Definitely a high risk for us! He is sweet, I know hubby would have them all as pets within weeks! LOL
I scored a chain link fence gate on Craigslist for 20 bucks this week + 5 big pallets for free 4 foot by 6 foot. perfect timing to throw a quick turkey shed together before my trip home. I snapped a picture not sure if I can get it to upload from my phone. Hopefully the hub won't have to chase turkeys around every morning to put them back in their run while I'm away this weekend.
Awesome! Great way to use the finds!

Sweeettt! You go girl! :)

WOW!  You work fast!!!!!!!!  LOL  :thumbsup   Great Job!

Thanks! Sunday will be the real test of speed though. I told my sister I would build her a coop or at least get her started but I only have one day to do it! Thankfully, my MIL is watching my big girls for me that day so I'll just have the baby to watch while I build. The turkey shed was really very simple the hardest part was getting those giant pallets level all by myself.

lol....not gonna build a house or anything, but those projects I have been putting off are now going to get done!

Where'd you get the pallets from? I'd love to find the big ones like those instead of the little ones everybody has.

Chaos, google your area for pallets, like craigslist or simliar, they usually give those away, most companies won't re-use them. We have quite a few around here, but they are the smaller ones, we heat with a pellet stove and we get them when get our deliveries of pellets. We've used them to make compost bins, great for stacking stuff on. Check your local TSC's or Lowes, etc....they may want to get rid of some. :)

Teeny CurlySues! aka HarmonyAnns Serama....
Love her new tiny Roos, they are making such cute little all color cuties!
One problem with them is she is getting more straight than frizzle, they are so sweet looking!

ps... ignore the blue circles around the bottom, I had two sets of eggs in and I hand roll these tiny eggs. When its lockdown its quicker to see who is who and grab them out.
I marked air cells on day 16 because they hatch anywhere between day 19 & 20, as you can see the eggs are all different sizes and the bigger ones will hatch tonight into tomorrow.
Serama take some time to learn how to incubate.
