Okay, dumb question, but here goes... how do I make an auction thread in the Buy Sell Trade section?

I doubt you will get much auction action in a private thread, but there are 2 "auction" threads already out there that you can post your auctions to. I would use one of those. The threads in the BST section are really more for immediate sales (buy it now) or general advertising of availability.

Hatch day came early. Check out this little overachiever. He broke right out of his egg and stood up! 23 Australorps left to go. We have two more pecking their way out even as we speak.

Awesome! Congratulations! I love my Australorp. She is a beautiful big chicken with the reddest comb and wattles, and she lays very consistently. She is always vocalizing, so I usually know where she is. Enjoying my vacation yesterday in the Poconos. Today we are going to a bird/parrot rescue to see if we match up with a new bird. So excited to meet some new parrots! They are A Helping Wing, and they have a great Facebook page if anyone is interested. Hope you all have a great and productive day! :yiipchick

Ya I think they were from them. They were very small just a bit over the size of a quarter.

The little white bantam roo got out of the tractor somehow yesterday and ended up in the main chicken run. He's very social and doesn't like to be on his own. Romeo didn't seem to bother with him at all, but I want to keep him together with our other 'foster' chickens. I had to catch him in hub's fishing net to put him back in the tractor though... he is so fast and flies so well! I wish I would have thought to bring hub's fishing net to my FIL's when I had to catch them all to bring them back here. Who knew fishing nets would be such a useful chicken tool?

I used to use my son's butterfly net to catch some of mine when they were chicks. They were small and fast and I didn't want to step on them when trying to catch them after some free time.

. We passed you twice today and twice yesterday, maybe even the day before too. Our bird meeting went well. Hopefully we will have a new member in our family soon. . And of course I will post pics!

Look everybody! I'm becoming hopeless! I've been searching for almost a month for a female duck atkeast 4 months old in the medium to large weight class. I don't care what breed just not a flying Muscovy, one that doesn't flyvis great! And somewhere in range of the Pittsburgh area. Between being screwed over, not able to take pairs or trios, this is impossible! I am going crazy. My poor pekin drake needs a gf before my baby is born and I can't give him enough attention! I've looked everywhere, tried everything! Plz someone Help Me! I am begging!!!!. . Please!!!!!
