Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Look everybody! I'm becoming hopeless! I've been searching for almost a month for a female duck atkeast 4 months old in the medium to large weight class. I don't care what breed just not a flying Muscovy, one that doesn't flyvis great! And somewhere in range of the Pittsburgh area. Between being screwed over, not able to take pairs or trios, this is impossible! I am going crazy. My poor pekin drake needs a gf before my baby is born and I can't give him enough attention! I've looked everywhere, tried everything! Plz someone Help Me! I am begging!!!!

That was one of the first place I looked. My hubby won't drive to Ohio for a duck. A new duck and a toddler daughter are not a great idea for long drives. I'm looking like a 40 min drive max, I'm trying to find my drake a mate before my baby is born and I can't give him enough attention. . yes, I got my hands full but I'm OK with it! Lol

If you want to open your search up to eastern PA, I think I am close enough to you to facilitate a chicken train ride ;) Next trip is Halloween weekend and I will have birds on board so it would be no problem to bring a duck back for you. Eastern PA to Harrisburg or along/near the turnpike.

What is everyone up to this weekend? Hubs took the kids to DorneyPark for the Company picnic. I think I should attempt to clean my garage a bit its nasty since I havent touched it in a year! My hubs can do a lot of stuff for us but OMG he has no idea what "put a tool back" means! ugh!!! I was researching making a homemade wizzbang, anyone have any suggestions as to where to find a motor for it?

Haha! My husband is the same way! We can barely walk through the garage with all the stuff he has everywhere.problem is, he gets upset if I clean it lol.

I would check harbor freight tools for a motor.

maybe a heating contractor might have a used rebuilt one, thats where i got mine, but honestly sally its just as cheap to buy one already made and ready to go, by the time we gathered everything for ours, had the same cost and since we were in the heating business we already had the motor so if you have to buy a motor, might come out cheaper in the long rum to buy new

Sally, don't they use old washing machines to make pluckers? You could probably find a used one pretty cheaply. Probably for less than buying a new motor.

Fisher lady those silver rock roosters are beautiful

I just reconnected with Wingstone on FB so I'll let her know to check in. I've mostly been missing from here too. Since my job change last year, I spend time commuting that I used to spend chit chatting on here.
