Nothing wrong with that. I was sorry my Ameraucana went lame. I had EE, but it was never hard to tell her egg from the other ones. Maybe someday....I guess I'm an Ameraucana snob, I just can't get interested in EE's, only the "real" ones.

Ergh. Cannot find anywhere whatsoever that sells chukar chicks for a low minimum, due to the fact that anything less than thirty many of them will die in transit since they're not warm enough. So, I have a plea for anyone willing. If someone would like to get the thirty, it'd be awesome if I could just pay for five of them. I don't have room for thirty, as much as I want to.
Hey guys!
Returning from a very busy, mystical journey at the land of college!
May be returning to my beloved poultry shortly as I was reached out to by a local 4H aid requesting my services in my club again as apparently the current leader is trying to step down.
Also was asked by the same person to possibly help in some poultry themed days at a local farmer's market my town is trying to start up.
So I thought I'd sneak in and catch up! missed you people![]()
The splash you have on your site is beautiful. Pottstown is only an hour away. Do you ever sell your Ameraucana chicks sexed? I am one of those who absolutely can't have a boy. My neighbors would turn me in!
Hey! Have just been so caught up in other things, but I'll come back if the club needs me! May not make it to the meeting this tuesday as I have a class I'll probably have to attend but be assured I'll be working in the backgroundWow!!! Where you been hiding?? Are you really back? 4-H Meeting is this coming Tuesday and would LOVE to see you there!!!
Quote: Oh no! I hadn't noticed! It got her to stop crying (she fell into a door). I tried letting her hold the chick, but she was squeezing today. I love how the chick turned to look at the camera.
Usually the ones with head spots which get barring on the wings early end up being roosters. We only had two end up being hens and their barring was very, very muted. The birds have usually ended up being quite beautiful with a combination of penciling around their neck and barring on the wings.LOL. I'm anxious to see if the pullet will have lacing on her wings. None of the mothers do. The grey chicks are a mystery too. Two are darkening in spots. Not sure what to expect from them either.
I do see that some of Fisherlady's chicks are splotched black-and-white like mine. Fisherlady, do you know if they stay like that as adults?
