Good morning all!

Happy early easter to me, found this this morning! All of my adult birds are officially laying now. This comes from my African goose
Nice! I'm allergy to goose egg though. When I was a kid, my neighbor kept a goose and gave us some eggs. They were yummy. Then I had hives all over my body after eating the eggs. Every time I told nurses or doctor that I'm allergy to goose eggs, they all had funny looks on their faces like "you ate goose eggs?

thanks all....Annie, I built it small to try and control the Chicken math. ......lol.

Nice try! I did that too. My 3-4 living comfortably in a small coop is now 8 chickens and a turkey poult squished in there. I can stop anytime! :duc

Good morning, Fisherlady!
My one sister is moving to a farm, where the back end of the garage is a big coop. They are right there by Meyer Hatchery, but will probably be getting the chicks from me. Abd why not? Free is free! Not to mention, they will be at point of lay by the time my sister moves into the farmhouse.
I must say, I am incredibly jealous! I think they have about 50 acres! My brother-in-law is totally used to that, since he used to be a caretaker for one of the Salvation Army's summer camps.
I sent them this picture of my gorgeous rooster.

Awesome for your sister! That's a great pic of your Roo too.

It wouldn't work. You will find yourself there building another coop soon. :gig

X2!

well u know......I would like to have at least one welsummer, but the coop is full. Well we might be able to get one more in there....lol

That's how it starts!

I would love that .....but I just don't have the room. I should have checked the chicken train before I got the dark cornish that was suppose to be a welsummer.

If you really want to have a Welsummer, but can't stand to butcher a hen, I am not exactly "next door", but I have a mixed flock anyway. If you are out this way, I have room for your unwanted girl(s).

Johnstown is only an hour and 48 minutes away and I am open to any birds that need a home to I can't drive more than half an hour though so but I don't care who u decide to take them or even if u are going to part with them cause all of my birds have a name and stay until they die even if it's a meat bird
