I have lots of seeds starting indoor now. Maybe I should start till my garden soon. Time for radish and peas!

A new rhodebar cockerel to replace my Rosco.

Hubby and I are planning to go to Pittsburgh this weekend so maybe we'll still be able to meet up with @emorems0 to pick the eggs up. We'll see what we can work out :)

That's great! Hopefully, you will have these eggs hatching soon.

Rhodebars are such a sweet breed. Hope that you will have lots of chicks after set up you breeding pens. Rhodebars, Ameraucanas, CCLs, they are so nice.

That's the question I always have: How could your barnyard mix chicks all look like BRs? I remember your roo is not a BR, and have some colorful hens. It's a great idea to get some Ameraucana chicks from Jess. They are such eyecandies that lay blue eggs and will give you some green egg layers.

Her flock are mixes from my flock, We have 2 barred rock hens and a mix mutt rooster, Grayson, with prominent barring (I think he's a bar rock cross himself). Grayson has sired many, many chicks for us and it seems his barring traits are strong, we get a lot of 'Mini Graysons' in our mixes...thankfully he has an incredible personality and passes that along with his barring!
 
One more month and I will finally have my chicks from Meyer!!!! It has been killing me to see all the babies at TSC and not bring any home.....ok well thats the partial truth, I did bring 2 ducklings home......
