Thanks, I will get some Corid today. Are suggesting that based on her behavior, or on the poos? I actually was out there with her and saw her poo. It was perfect green little pile. Not sure if poop is always bloody with cocci, or just sometimes.
I'm basing it on the way she looks, hunched down, fluffed up, and tired looking. I've had some look like that before without the bloody poops and they recovered just fine.

Agree. Coccidiosis doesn't always lead to bloody poop. It's easy and safe to treat, so better be safe than sorry. If you were near me, I could give you my corid since I have no chicken now. But you are at least 3 hours away.
Easter egger pullet? Not sure about the black one with big comb.

Thanks! Little bugger will have to wait until tomorrow though. Local TSC didn't have any in stock, and the next closest one didn't have any in stock either.
At least I was smart enough to call the second store before I drove over there...
Thanks, I appreciate the thought!
Agree on both!
Awesome! My husband put the clippings on the edge of the woods yesterday. The turkeys thought it would be an excellent idea to take a dust bath in them. I'm amazed they weren't green today!

I just got these little darlings from my brother- in- law. Any ideas what exactly they are, breed and gender?

Until you can get her medicated I would give her some where quiet and feed her some scrambled eggs...some vitamins wouldn't be a bad idea. Nutri-drench or chick saver would work. This would give her a boost until meds are available
we have named some of the chicks Ozzy and Sharon as well as Johnny and June.e Storms!
Now I'm worried about Ozzy who will be out in the storm.

Chaos convinced me to rename Lita Ford. She will be Sharon, and this baby is Kelly.
