This sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out.

X2, In order of my suspicion level... 1...other chickens 2...dog 3...snake 4...other critter such as possum, weasel, or coon...though they would rarely come into the yard during daylight hours to get it.

You forgot the neighbors, or their kids. People can be sneaky.

I have a bunch of ravens hanging around, they steal eggs all of the time.

I can't say I have a length of time. Just when they get in the way.

I try to get them in the fridge within the same day...never EVER happens that way, but that is my goal. So when they over fill the sink and counter, I get them sorted out and give them away.
