My 13 year old daughter is a sewing Queen and already has fabric picked out! I ordered a couple different sizes so she could make patterns. As far as she's concerned every chicken we have is hers lol

Gadzooks....as the sun comes up, I left the rear passenger side window 1/2 open....(had the pooch out with me yesterday....).....and a bunch of tracks all over my backyard,,,,fox came by for a visit sometime between 5-6:00a....funny cause yesterday afternoon was the first time I've free ranged in months....

Yikes! Tarp didn't last 2 hours? I'm worried about the frozen gates and latches that will be coming after the deep freeze hits. I'm contemplating using bailing twine to close some coops instead of the hardware. Anyone else have ideas?

We did quite a bit of tarping yesterday as well. Got a pic of my youngest up on top of the main run tying tarps. She's a good kid (I get to hold the ladder, It's tough getting old).

It's hard to believe how stinking cold it is already when I was in a tank top and getting sunburned yesterday...

Sorry to hear about the tarp, that sucks.
Those fox won't cut you a break! You need to find some fox hounds to borrow for a weekend and have a hunt!

Dear Spellcheck,
I can spell "geeze" any way I want to! :tongue

I have come to hate spell check/auto correct. It always seems to pick the worst possible words to substitute! :barnie

Glad you have such a great helper! We use a lot of bailing twine or parachute cord around here. I like the parachute cord for the outside stuff, it's nylon isn't as prone to feezing up as all the fibers in the twine. Parachute cord is pretty cheap at the dollar store or WalMart and lots of colors to choose from.

My son loves snow too. But he's at Florida enjoying his first Disney trip now, when I'm here shoveling snow and frozen.:barnie At least rest of my family is all warm and happy.

Hope his trip goes well! Sorry you are stuck dealing with the snow though. :hugs
