I had problems with that when I got chicks the first time. They weren't warm enough. Try making them a bit warmer than usual, they probably had a rough cold ride and need to warm up quickly? Put a drop of (what was it another poster said, nutri-drench?) in their mouths to perk them up.

I gave everyone the vitamin in mouth. Dipped everyones mouth in water. I ave to keep taking water out for ducks to not get water logged but most chicks wont drink. Ive been droppering water into the mouthes of ones that wont. Definitely loosing a third. I think tbe others are okay. Ugh. It happened so fast

Don't beat yourself up about it. If they are reds, I lost 4 of my 6 last year while all my BO ones were ok. They aren't as hardy I guess? There's a reason why hatcheries use them as packing peanuts. As long as your ducks are ok, it's all fine!
