The Broodys seem to have accepted them. I will got out and check in a bit. Good thing I have off of work today!
 
Has anyone ever had fleas in their coop? This is the first time for this particular pest. While watching my broodys, I had a few climb up on my feet and legs. Eek! The girls don't seem to be bothered, but I will clean the coop this weekend for sure.

Awesome, congratulations! I'm curious to see how they feather out. We'll have to guess who mom and dad were lol. What color eggs hatched?

The Silkie is whiter than this picture, and she still has blu kote on her from a while back. She will look better in a few weeks when she is out with her babies all day.

Not sure yet, but at least 3 were SPR, the eggs were marked. I'll have to check later, my back is spasming again so I have been told to lay in bed all day.

No rush, you should rest your back. Remember, the ones I marked SPR were guesses and could have also been from my Rhodebar or hatchery silkie hen. I did my best to get the right ones though lol

That's exciting! Most of them look striped, but if I had another Silkie I would love it!

Oh, and regarding the fleas, I realized I had a canister or Dust On Permethin powder, so I'm all good. It should help until I can get out there and clean the coop.

We may have to arrange for a few silkie chicks to travel the train too lol.

Speaking of silkies, @fisherlady, I need to get some pictures for you. It looks like most of my blue silkies are boys. A few I'm not positive on yet but if you still want one, I can get him to you. I never ended up taking them to the swap. I didn't have enough room lol
