Help!
One of my 6 week old chicks has wry neck now. She can only look down, is still eating and drinking and pooping. But she does spasm out once in a while where she has no control over her neck. I'm doing what I can - holding her to calm her, helping her drink and eat. I put chick vitamins in her water & read that vitamin E will solve this problem.
Do I just buy human capsules of vitamin E and mix with her water? Will this work?
Certainly doesn't look leghorn to me, the ones I had held their tails fanned very upright and were much more slender through the body.This is a 12-week-old “Leghorn”. I haven’t had a white bird in years. Is that really a white Rock?

I have to apologize that I can’t remember how many drops to give the chick. I think it’s one.
@Auroradream26 Do you remember?
You'll want to do vitamin E and selenium for wry neck. I've read that vitamin A works against the absorbtion of vitamin E so when I'm treating for wry neck, I avoid the multivitamin but that's just me. I use half a tablet of selenium (I don't engender the exact dosage and I'm unfortunately out of it rightnow) and a few drops of vitamin E. Mix it together and give via an eye dropper. If you do want to add the multivitamin, I'd only add a drop. Give this twice a day.
