My poor sweet Cleo passed away over night. She must have had some serious internal injuries. I'm glad she's not suffering anymore though.

In sweeter news, we have a tiny little house guest for a few weeks. My aunt found this little guy in her flower bed and doesn't know what to do with him. He looks to be only about 5 weeks old and isn't really able to eat solid food yet so we took him in to Foster him. He'll be looking for a good home in a couple weeks :)

The hen the fox had in its mouth is alive and running around like nothing happend. We found on of the young roosters that the fox Reyes to get a couple days ago coverd in maggots. So we had to put him down. I am keeping an eye on the hen. I sprayed red koat on her to keep infection away. The fox is dead. We had to open its mouth to get the hen out.

I'm glad that you got him and that the hen seems ok. Sorry about the roo .....
