Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

They're growing already!

Welcome from Cambria county! I agree with others. Finding chicks that are not GMO raised will be very difficult but you could get chicks from anyone and raise them from that point on with non GMO feeds. Too bad you're on the other side of the state. My brooders are overflowing!

Congrats, that's awesome! There's been very little demand for chicks so far this year in my area. Usually, I can't hold on to any poults or pullets but this year, I can't seem to sell any! If anyone wants some F2 sex linked Olive ever hatching eggs, let me know, I'll ship you some. I don't think I'm putting any more in the incubator until demand picks up again.
Thanks Aurora Dream!!

I'm so annoyed that on the one warm day this week we are dealing with such high winds. I had planned to do some work outside finishing dismantling the old runs to make way for the new. Already have downed trees reported across at least one local road here.

It's very windy here too. We keep looking outside and watching the trees in the words all around us. They're swaying like crazy!

Seriously!! Then the bitter cold again tomorrow!

So true! I'm ready for summer! A hot and dry summer! (Hopefully)

Thanks for the info Fang. What a great site. Oh, we didn’t make ourselves clear, we meant chicks from hens raised on non-gmo feed. But I don’t think anyone has this situation around. We’ll probably be looking for a grange feed store that has non gmo feed soon if anyone knows?? M&J

I know there's a mill in Newport that sells not-GMO feeds. We used to drive the whole way out there to get feed until our flock grew to a point where that just want feasible anymore. I know they do deliver but I don't know where all to (not to our area). If I remember or find the name of it, I'll let you know what it is.
