I also had some Ameraucana cockerels that needed freezer camp. Some had gold leakage and I don't want that getting passed on for the future generattions. Ok ya'll, I need incubation advice. My house is laid out extremely weird! In the main house on the first floor I have my kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms for the kids (who aren't living here, but are here every weekday before and after school) In the back part of the house is my dining room, computer room and spare bedroom. So here is my question: WHERE do I put my incubator? I was thinking on the kitchen table (not used for eating, I have my "small" appliances on it and move them as needed to use. There is a grow light over this table that I can turn off and on. The 2nd option is I have a window height dresser in my dining room that I have dead plants on. I could put it there, I would just have to go around the dining room tables (yes I have 2.....long story). Third option is the computer room. It has a window and a skylight.

I'm a newbie compared to some , but you don't want the incubator near a window where the sun or change in temp can throw off the bator. A place that stays a constant temp.
 
Ok. I'll be back in a lil while. Meeting galgo and getting our CPT field test done so we can be certified.

DEAD on the ROOST!! I didnt even check for sure if its Sketch or Stencil, but it was one of my big beautiful Dark Brahma hens and all my chickens are April/Mays, so young! Lil Lucas climbed in and put her in the dish pan dust bath bucket that I dumped out. looks like she fell asleep and never woke up!!! I am p/od and upset, she has been a fine girl!! As much as I would love to check her out, she is frozen solid and I dont have the heart to even look in her throat for petes sakes! Now what??? uggggg
