Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

So, was just wondering... How many coops & chickens does everyone have?

I have 2 coops, 18 hens - but of course I would like more!!!

Not sure about different counties, but in lancaster county,, just google lancaster county deeds and on the right hand side of that page will be a listing for assessments.. once you go to assessments you can type in the persons name or address and all info on the property will come up.
Wingstone~I looked and because I have having a major problem with my builder my taxes have JUST be reassessed. (I'm entering a huge lawsuit against my builder who did not disclose that our taxes were partially assessed) so a month after closing, we found out our taxes DOUBLED to 12, 629.00 per year. It was suppose to be 1/2 that as what we were told by the builder. (he with held that info as did his agent, so we are suing both.) It's just a huge mess. One day I will give the readers digest version to you because there is A LOT more. LOL! Either way, we are suing for the balance of our taxes (6 grand per year, for the term of our mortgage not including damages.) Then other stuff that is major that he has lied to us about also. It's a mess. So On January 1 I will know what my exemption is. (Right now on the county website that part is blank.)

I have a coop coming. 1 baby (2/3 weeks old~I forgot) and a 3 month old Americuana who is residing in my brooder box until the coop comes. She is blind in her left eye from an eagle attack at my friends house in NJ. So she was an unexpected rescue. :) She is a very welcomed addition!
Welcome!

hmmm.... this is going to require some thought from me.....

Coop one (all for sale)
2 buff brahma bantams
2 mf cochin bantams
1 splash silkie hen
1 splash ameraucana pullet

Coop 2
7 bantam orps (B/B/S; 2 roos, 5 pullets)

Coop 3

a bunch of silkies :)
1 JG
1 BR

We are going to be doing a lot of shifting and building this spring. I will have a coop for my LF B/B/S cochins, one for my LF layers and one for my white bantam langshans. I think hubby is going to build arks for all of my bantams, one for each breed. Each would hold 8 bantams.

Whew! No my head hurts..... lol!

Are you getting rid of all your MF Bantam Cochins??

SO HAPPY BECAUSE OUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!!  This is SO exciting for us!!

I guess our county is different because we got homestead and we only have an acre and a half it is just if that is your primary house or if it is your secondary( house renting or like a summer home or something)
