i have been trying to keep up with the reading of the thread, but often just to tired to respond....
Told everyone in this house, all I want for christmas is a day off...one of those that you never even get dressed, no company either......i have not had a day off since thanksgiving and many have been 12 hour work days.....The money is nice but dang I am to tired to enjoy it....

I think Mimsy (my JG from MotorcycleChick) laid her first egg today. I am almost positive it was hers. I can't get over how cute and tiny it is!! Silkie eggs on either side for comparison.

Okay, I do. I am just ticked that everyone should be laying by now, and only one out of 14 are.
 
Ok so have been talking to Heather about foods for the chickens and what we should be using and I think we could get exactly what we want from a feed mill that makes custom feeds now the only problem is we would need to order 2 ton ( their min) we can have it sacked out in 50lb bags and I know they do deliver and I believ you have to have a min of 500lbs for free delivery. So I guess I'm just wondering is anyone interested if so I will get pricing!!
