If I were breeding Orps, and I covered a back with a Splash, I would end up wit 100% blues. I assume it works the same with the Marans? Help me out here, Ray...

I don't know who wanted the Button Quail, but Eli Weaber has them for sale on the PA Livestock page on FB. They just said 2 hours ago they still have them.

I LOVE the blues… don't have any Blue Marans, but I've got blue Orps:

Black x splash is all blue!

here is the key....

blue x blue = 25% black, 50% blue, 25% splash
black x blue = 50% black, 50% blue
black x splash =100% blue
blue x splash = 5-% blue, 50% splash
splash x splash = 100% splash
