Heather thats so awesome!!! I am so happy you are adding to your cochins!! YAY You go girl!! BTW I have in my mind to sell my cochin and put the grey maran in their coop... is that terrible of me or what??? OH this chicken **** is soooo confusing me!!! I dont know what I want!!
 
We tightened up the fencing so hopefully the ducks can't get out. When I get back from NJ I'll take care of clipping their wings. Is it hard? Fiancee said to call the vet and see if they do it...but I'm sure it's something I can do.....I think....:(
 
You don't have to waste money on a vet! Take one wing and cut the feathers. I go in the curve of the wing. Function before beauty! You will need to keep doing the clipping every few months or so. Only do one wing as it will throw the balance off and keep them grounded.
