If you breed the together or with any other one that carries the gene you can end up with really messed up chickens with no feathers who won't make it thru the winter or any cold weather for that fact! I only will keep frizzel hens that way I don't have any problems know my roos aren't so as long as ensure they aren't frizzel we are good to go!
