Short and to the point. I like it.

I've noticed while sexing my Marans that it's a wait n see, all about the comb size, and the boys coloring in more.

WLRabbitry, I've been told that the 2 big ones in our area are Delmarva and the Maryland show, I can't remember the name of. MsLadyHawke and I went. Come summer, there are many local 4H fairs where you can show. Montgomery County has a large one.

Also, there is web site listing lots of shows.

CUTE!!!

Her are my hatches from this past week.

7 silkies (a few of these will be available to pet homes)

and 13 for my egger coop (marans, ameraucana and olive eggers) All the boys from these will be going.

I am done hatching now for a little while. The next thing I hatch will probably be bantam orpingtons. My son is wanting a splash.....

Little Brownie is a cutie. My hubby is making her into a lap chicken lol. My dog Bambi is trying to figure out what it is, she was giving her kisses last night. Bambi gets so excited to see her, she bounces all over the place trying to get close.

I think I have decided to order some Wyandotte chicks from a hatchery. I might pick up a couple extra bantam hens to go with my 2 I have now, so I have some eggs until my Wyandottes get old enough. Any opinions?

Any reason why you are ordering from a hatchery? Lots of breeders right here. Just curious?
