4 poults and 1 still zipping! All are light brown. I'm guessing none are from the royal palm tom.

About 2 weeks ago the dog began to get into the FF while it was still in the bucket I use to bring it to the coop. He even followed me into the coop to eat it with the chickens. I had to get creative to keep him out of it. Thismorning I spilled some layer pellets while filling the extra feeder on the back porch. I said, "Oops. Didn't mean to do that." Sturgis said, "I'll take care of it!" He even went so far as to eat out of the feeder. I don't mean from the top. I mean from the little bowl with the dividers in it where the chickens eat from.
I swear that dog really is going to start crowing!
Lol! My cat laps at the fermented mash too! Even the slop bucket... ewww!
Hey Blarney: Really small world....I'm a Ridley-ite also....grew up in Ridley Park, and had a appartment in Prospect Park for years....Delco folks are definity cut from a different cut of cloth!
I had to peek again. I wanted to check on the already hatched poults, because they were SOAKING wet when I checked last time. They're fluffier now and the last egg is about 1/4 of the way zipped. Come on baby!!! They're way too stinking cute!!!!
And where are the pictures???!!! Turkey poults are so cute.
Wouldn't palm poults look like chipmunks? If they were whites, they'd be yellow.
