I thought I'd give everyone an update on the Silkie chicks that April let me have. It took me 2.5 weeks but it finally happened. Somehow I murdered them.

x2. But mine's a Pom/Yorkie. Almost had her gone last night, but she ended up at the local fire dept. who posted her on Facebook. Friend called, "Are you missing a dog?" Sooo close!

The carpet grosses me out the most. I have been thinking the past few days that I might be able to get the carpet up, and put down some of those "self stick" tiles from the dollar store. I would need to figure out how to get the carpet nail thingies up (you know? the boards along the wall with nails to hold the carpet.) And I need a way to seal the spaces between the tiles, but I think that is just some clear caulk, right?
