My little Luke was like no way this morning its cold I am going back in mommy!!!  LOL

My 2yo DGS will often make it 1/2 way out to the coop, and turn around and go back to the house when he's supposed to go out with me in the morning! LOL

Just came in from my morning ritual of feeding and collecting eggs. It doesn't matter how cold it is or what the weather is like, it's just so enjoyable to go out and spend some time with my girls! They're quite spoiled too, they got some bread this morning and as a treat we got them some dried meal worms at TSC the other day. Did you ever think when you first got chickens that you would enjoy them as much as we obviously all do? I know I never did!

I feel the same way! The biggest surprise for me was my husbands reluctant acceptance of my birds! It warms my heart to watch him sneak out the basement door with a bucket of cracked corn, for no reason!

Last night I caught him online searching for preformed pond liners for the ducklings I'm getting in April. He loves my chickens! He'd never admit it, but he does.

You're killing me with those Cochins Sally! Cute doesn't even begin to describe them. The Silkie is too, but really lovin' the Cochins!
