Day 20 - an early bird. Ironic because the eggs in this little bator had not candled as well as the other 13 in the bigger bator.

Yup everything in this little bator so far. It had 3 welsummer, 2 marans, 1 EE and 1 I forget. 2 Marans and 1 Welsummer so far. The other 2 welsummers, only 1 has a pip and candidly the weight is way off on it. The other one is promising. The EE and the I forget are at 20 days today at 4pm. The other bigger bator is silent - and that one was the one where I screwed up the humidity early on. 8( Some candled well (I failed at candling the dark brown eggs) so I am hoping they are just a tad behind.

This is Styx, he needs a new home if anyone is interested! He is a real push over!! This guy I crow at, and he will run and hide behind the nesting box. I can't have roosters, so I can't let him crow, he has all ready and it's loud! LOL Is it crazy to crow at a Rooster?! Haha!!

I did, I think I will post again, since he has grown and matured a lot more recently... I would love for his tail feathers to come in even more, I am curious on how they will develop! If I can keep him quiet there is no rush, just not sure i want to crow at a rooster 2x a day! haha

And now I think he is a langshan as well, not a cochin.. hmmmm (thanks gardeningmama, and Rodriguez)

EDIT*** oh!! that is a new group!! I send a request, and I posted him on several other FB locations!

Another EDIT!! I think I was kicked out of the PA livestock... I was a member of that group.. wonder what happened?!?!?
