Hello All,

Just an FYI...

There will be a Spring Poultry, Bird & Small Animal Sale on Saturday May 11th in Ephrata, PA starting at 10:00am. The location is at the Green Dragon Small Animal Auction on the grounds of the Green Dragon Farmer's Market in scenic Lancaster County, PA (the market has a website http://www.greendragonmarket.com/) . The market is only open on Fridays, but this particular auction will be on Saturday and food will be available.

The address is 955 North State Street Ephrata, PA 17522.

At the auction you can expect to find all breeds of poultry, pigeons, cage birds (parrots, lovebirds, finches, etc), rabbits, peafowl, guineafowl, ornamental pheasants, chicks, cages, wire, etc.

Consignments are welcome and receiving of animals for the sale will start at 6:00am on Saturday morning.

*Please keep in mind that the state of PA requires the out-of-state poultry for sale must have been tested negative for Avian Influenza. So please have this documentation available if applicible*

** Also, any cages/carriers used to sell animals MUST go with the animals when sold**

For more details, feel free to email Keith at [email protected] or call at 610-763-9804. A flyer for the auction can also be emailed to anyone who is interested.

So mark your calendars for Saturday May 11th 2012!!!!

Note: We also have our weekly Friday auction that starts at 6:30pm for anyone unable to attend the special Saturday sale.

I am pretty sure this is the same day as the Clearfield swap at the fairgrounds.

Betta has been quiet, she still overwhelmed with the move and incubator situation.???

Have we gotten a definite on the summer get together dinner/swap yet,,,,need to get this on the calendar if it is going to happen.especially if it is gonna turn out to be an all weekend event.

Thank you !! to all those helping out with the orp's, these birds in particular are special,,,,and Chad I need to send my big SLW baby to camp, he drew blood on hubby, still can not understand, he is so nice to everyone else (maybe hubby should go to freezer camp)

I am sure there's more I wanted to type, but my brain is not awake yet...

**a friend at work has an extra kindle fire she wants to sell me for $175...is this a decent price...

That is not a good situation
I'm still alive. The bator is frustrating for sure! I just feel rather "blah" about everything right now and not finding a whole heck of a lot of enjoyment on the forums, especially since I have now found my printer, but the power cord is amongst the missing, so I have some shipments that are overdue! Plus, we've put ourselves on budget, trying to save as much as possible, and with spring coming up and NO plans for a garden or fruit trees?! Ugh. So, this month has been a little stinky... Spraining my bad ankle again, frying my bator, the stress of moving, etc, etc. I just feel like I need a break from life for a little while, lol.
Oh my
Thanks guys! :confused:g I could definitely go for a beer! Heck, make it a boozer, I have like 20 bottles of the junk here, though I don't know what all we have. Heck, I'm not even sure if it's still good, though I don't think booze goes bad? We did dump some wine that had been open and sitting there for a few years, I think that goes bad, LOL. I'm telling you, we could get a whole block party smashed on our little "bar" here, and neither of us drinks any of it! Many were gifts, but there are two bottles of rum from my cruise from three years ago, a bottle of vodka from like two years ago, then a gallon of apple pie that was a gift for hosting the 2011 biker party at our house, two bottles of captain, I think two bottles of jack and a bunch of other stuff, LOL. Heck, we could get the whole town of Julian smashed! I should see if I can trade it for stuff!
I started salivating
******, just went out to do the chicken chores to discover the chicks that went out 2 days ago spilled a gallon of water into their pen. I guess it was chilly enough and the stress of being moved and soaking wet put down a white silkie. She is still breathing but I'm wondering if it would be more merciful to put her down.

Of course, now I'm questioning my decision to wait till after work and the rain was done before going out there.

And the 6-yr-old was with me, her tender little heart was broken. The tears were flowing. Life lessons suck sometimes.
It's tough I'm sorry dear
