Looks great!   Don't be afraid to add a nice porch in front of the door.  We have a 4 ft porch on the front of ours and it makes all the difference in the world when it's muddy and icy

That is a great idea!

Chick starter till they're ready for lay mash. Treats: Scrambled eggs, oatmeal, corn, leftover veggies, veggie peelings (except potato), fruit (except citrus)

That is what we do too.

Also ~ when adding any treats make sure they have access to grit.

X2. Very important!

I don't mean to sound so mean about this.....but when my roosters turned and hurt my boys, they met the side of me they didn't wanna see.  And then I ate them. Love my chickens to the hill....but no way!!!

:) we are vegan/Vegetarian. We won't eat our pets. When I told my son we will have to get rid of the too he defended him saying "he's just being the boss, it's not his fault. I don't want him to die". We don't believe in killing something just because its mean.

We would just re-home him with the assumption that he will live a long happy life.
(Even if that just may not be the case.)

when rehoming these roo's.......PLEASE......make sure you inform everyone involved as to why you are rehoming them.....if they have been mean, do not tell them that they are the nicest rooster out there...

with that said.....many of us on here will...and have.. taken the mean boys.....but they have no fairy tale ending,,,,I think you all know what happens to these boys.

not attacking you penta,,, I have just had lots of people contact me about taking roosters with the assumption that they live happily ever after... (I prefer the do not tell if they do not ask approach )..
