You know tomorrow is the chicken swap at the CLearfield Fairgrounds rain or shine. I THINK the times are 10-3 You can Google it.
It also sounds like you want a Barred Rock. Black and white striped, and the sweetest chicken I know of.

Todd did that for me yesterday, I still owe him...hahaha, He was soaked the the bloomers!!![]()
We live on top of hill, although a lot of people call it a mountain. (I was born in WY and one sis was born in Denver, it's not a mountain to me lol.) Anyway, there've been many times I could stand outside the house and be perfectly dry but on Rt 11, which runs right past the hill we live on, it was raining so hard I couldn't see the headlights. The one time it was raining on 11, and over the Susquehanna (runs along the otherside of the hill) and it was bone dry at our house. And I thought storms out west were weird...I can never tell how bad the weather is going to be here - sometimes it hits us other times it gets to the Bald eagle state forrest behind us and fizzles out ... oh the joys of living in a valley!
I'm not "lady like" enough for those kind of "clubs" LOL. My fiance tells me if he wanted a "lady" we wouldn't have gone on our first date...of course he's smart enough to only tell me that when I'm in a good mood LOLI will be checking that out...The rink I went to is still in business. It also has a golf course, it is very popular in Lac. Co- , along w/ soccer & field hockey. they also have alot of "clubs"..pinkies up ...hahaha![]()
I just had to do that with my parent's dogs, I forgot they were tied out until I heard the rain...Gavin got a huge laugh outta that when I came back in our house...lil putz...Todd did that for me yesterday, I still owe him...hahaha, He was soaked the the bloomers!! Now I know why so many "chicken people" watch the weather so closely...I am learning!
...There is some really bad stuff coming our way![]()

Quote: I get offended when people call me a lady. Ladies are prim, proper & submissive. I'm a woman. A woman has a mind of her own & knows how to use it.I have 3 daughters. They were not raised to be ladies either.![]()

Weather here is so weird to me lol back home in Australia we know it will storm by how hot it is and usually where they will hit as most of them follow a pattern. Then I left Australia and moved to Oklahoma (where hubby is from) and I learnt to get used to tornadoes storms with baseball size hail & earthquakes - THAT was something different all together lol I do miss that weather thoughWe live on top of hill, although a lot of people call it a mountain. I live right down the road from a drive in! And we go once and awhile.
We (Dad and I) where attemping to get the access doors on the back of the mandie/pheasant coop.. so I can STOP having to go there the duck door to get in the coop!!! That's a 1ft x 1ft opening not fun! Well we got the doors on.. but are tacked on by nails since it started to freaking rain as we where getting hinges on!Maybe tomorrow we can finally finish it!![]()

The only 1 in this house that can fit through the 1x1 pop door on our coop is my 6 yr old. Just thinking how tiny you must be to manage to wiggle through that door.Ok.

Its not easy I promise! The first time I did it.. my Dad walked by as I was inside the coop and I just pop'd out and scared him hahaha! But its not fun.. its easier getting in then out because out I have to drop down at an angle. o.oThe only 1 in this house that can fit through the 1x1 pop door on our coop is my 6 yr old.
