Hi! Welcome from Southeastern,Pa!!! I'm about a half hour from you. YAY, more peeps moving to our little corner of the state!!!Hey Pennsylvania,
I just put an offer down on a house in Shrewsbury, I think it's in Shrewsbury Township, it might be in East Hopewell too. I can't find anywhere that says about the chicken laws. My property has an acre of land, and I think it's considered agricultural residential. Anyone know the laws off the top of their head? I have 10 girls I don't want to loose
Thanks!
I just recently joined. Feel free to add me to your list of PA people. I just recently purchased four Buff Chantecler's. They are 12 weeks old today. What a difference from my other birds. I want to breed these for laying in the winter among other reasons. They are soooo docile. They would follow me inside if I would let them. Even my three year old can pick one up and pet it with no trouble. I was soo shocked. anyone with any information would be greatly appreciated.
Congrats on the duckies! My friend has young Pekins, and I went over last night. I can't believe the difference between her Pekins and my Calls. I'm really glad I went for the Calls, I must say, LOL!2 pekin and 1 runner hatched today so far,,, not worried yet though since they are not due to hatch until tomorrow

How about an e-mail addy then. I can send directly to e-mail from my cell.
The pekins have tended to hatch everything from 2 days early to 2 days late all in the same hatch & the runners tend to be closer to the due date or a day late for me. I'd love to see pix of what colors you get from the runners. I have a definite blue fawn & a tri-color & another that looks blue/white for the moment (it's younger). My tri-color started out looking like blue/white too though. I have a bunch due next week too.2 pekin and 1 runner hatched today so far,,, not worried yet though since they are not due to hatch until tomorrow
I sent her over 40. There better be more than just 3 hatch...LOL
