I keep getting funny looks from my coworkers..... Maybe I should try to be more quiet. Hope all those with injuries get better soon. My eggers go in to lock down tomorrow.

got a question for anyone with an answer... I have just dug-up a 'shoot' from a lilac bush. I tried to keep as many 'feeder-roots' on as possible..not many.., what I need to know is...did I just kill it or am I okay..I mean "it" okay??? I have it in a pot with soil and have watered it well. It is in the shade also. What else can I do to help it along. Oh, and I have it tied to a piece of bamboo for stability.

The one I shut down was the Sportsman. It may be the one to go. I'll try selling the hovabator first. Dewey gave me an evil look when I said about selling the Sportsman, but it seems like I am always the one to sacrifice something in order to take care of responsibilities. The Sportsman was my Xmas and Valentine's present.
Dewey did mention he has nothing to sacrifice. Sadly, he's right. It's all mine (what's mine is mine and what's his is mine). The boat was ours. We didn't even get to use it yet.

I know that spot! I like to run the trails back there when they're not too muddy. Water company recently laid a bunch of sewage pipes to parallel the Crum, so it's gotten much easier to get around in the woods back there.

I had been thinking about keeping chickens for several years now, but never really got the push to try it till I attended the "Feeling Cluckly" seminar at the Scott Arboretum. Didn't realize there were folks keeping them in Swarthmore!

Kinda funny, about a year ago I was at a Bday party and met a woman from Swathmore who had a pair of silkies in her backyard...it got me thinking....then I was watching a financial show about small business 'mypetchickens'...go figure....
