I don't mind it from a distance - skunks were all very new to me when I came to the US lol the smell from a distance when it is really faint, reminds me of a creek near my old house back in australia loli understand the stinky part, sometimes one travels down the dry creek bed outside out bedroom window late at night, early in the mornings, smells like he crawled into bed with us, we caught one in a live trap, almost pure white, thought it was one of our cats at first, when husband went to let it out, found out it was a skunk, told him to cover it with a blanket or something so it couldn't see him, and then open the door, it finally woke up that evening and went on its way. if we catch another thats wanting to spray us, will call oldest granddaughter, shes crazy, thinks they smell good![]()

I've read that feather picking can be a sign of low protein
we got a pretty big raccoon in the trap last night. We took it, and the two from last week and dropped them at a taxidermist in Philly this morning. Just as a donation. The taxidermist is a young woman, she showed my son around her studio and gave him a momento, it was very cool.
I'm gonna miss you again! Boo.

That is cool about the taxidermist, I'd never have thought of that. I bet the tour was awesome!! Did she have any really interesting pieces??
