Things have been crazy the past 2 weeks - I am finally over being sick, hubby got sick and so did the lil one - seems I got the worst of it though - couldn't be happier to see that sickness leave. I coughed so much and so hard I thought I had cracked a rib but it is feeling a ton better today than what it has been so I am guessing I just really messed up the muscles on my right hand side of my ribs.

Found out yesterday that the tree off the side of our garage is a walnut tree so a big thanks goes out to Chad for pointing that out. We have another one on the other side of the yard too - so now I know that, I can start collecting them!!! I had no idea!!!

Well now I am feeling better I had better get my butt into gear and go shampoo the carpets

RANT. RANT. RANT

I need new clothes and can not find anything that is suitable

Why are new clothes stained And have holes in already

Do they make jeans that cover the butt crack

Why wold I want the legs to flare out wen the rest of me does that all by itself

OK,,,I admit my closet is stuck in the 80's and will remain there.?. But really can they make normal clothes anymore

And my one let peeve,,,,why are today's styles so skimpy when 90 percent of society is overweight...

If you are looking for jeans - go to walmart, seriously lol I have been looking for a decent pair of jeans to fit my stubby legs lol (i'm 5'5") and I have finally found a pair that fit PERFECTLY .... they are Riders by Lee "Instantly slims you" - It is so rare to find a decent pair of jeans and I was so happy with them, I went back on sunday and got 2 more pairs!!!

Edit: I got them in my size (not saying LOL) and then "petite" - my jeans no longer drag along the ground!

Long shot here... Anyone local have any old screen doors they want to get rid of? They must be in working order and not falling apart. If wooden, I can fix separated corners and even pulled out screen. Heck, the screen doesn't even need to be there. If aluminum, I can paint and dents are fine! I can re-screen them, too. I'd prefer wood though... Just saying.

Wing, I have been wondering about skimpy clothes these days, too. It seems the overweight girls in the world don't realize they are. Now, Gavin's mom and Aunt Kat can attest that I am not picking on sizes, I myself am far from small. At least I know it. My butt and boobs are covered, I have no more of a muffin top than I was naturally given and I do not squeeze into pants 2x smaller than I need. I do believe in spaghetti straps and even strapless in the summer, though. I want my front pooch covered no matter what I wear, too. Sadly, since Fashion Bug went out of business, I can't find clothes. Either no one carries my size or they are tacky. I am fat, not an old lady. A MuMu is not my idea of fashion. And I do not want to wear garden. So, new clothes are now a challenge. Mens tees are a staple now days.

I feel the same way!!! I am 24 and 5'10" I have always been a bigger girl (athletic build) never 5'10" and 100lbs kinda girl. But I havent bought any clothes this past year and for me thats just odd. I like to shop. But I cant find jeans that arent skinny jeans, or those stupid jeggings. And i swear everytime I walk into American Eagle there jeans cost more and you get less fabric. Plus I still can fit into the same size I always have at anyother store and I go there and have to get 2 sizes bigger...no way aint happening. Plus when I tired jeans on there, my hand went right through the pocket of a pair as i was putting them on....no way I am buying them at that price and they ripped like paper.

I am now a young woman, not a little girl. All the new clothes are cropped shirts that show your stomach. I am way way way past that. Or they are made to fit someone who is short. (no offense anyone) On the other hand everything else I find is stuff my mom would wear or my grandma (again no offense) But it would just be nice to find clothes that fit and are for someone my age and who is a young professional. I dont have to dress for work everyday. Jean and a nice shirt will do but I cant even find that anymore!!!!

I think they may have just gotten out from under her and the cold got them...or maybe one of the other big girls just stepped on them....your thoughts?

I personally think one of the other hen's killed them. I think they'd know to go back to mom for warmth.

Just a fun little question: Has there ever been something that one of your chickens WOULDNT eat?

In my case there hasn't been anything they wouldn't eat, or even anything they wouldn't go nuts over! They even eat stuff they're not supposed to like dirt and feces.

my understanding is...in general nothing ...in specific...they all have their preferences,...some eat worms some don't
