People with shopping for clothes issues. I have a place for you. It called one stop plus. I know it says plus, but they have every size you can imagine. For example I am tall, fat, and not a grandma. I can find clothes there. I have a friend who is a short, fat, also not a grandma that can find clothes there. Then there one of my other friends who is skinny but because of her height, not a small size. She is tall, average weight, and also a professional. She had found clothes there also. The prices are not to bad either, and they always have sales and coupons.

Ohhh boy...went to have a glass of the cider I just bought at the fair the other day. Looks like I have 1.5 gals of applejack started...only this time it was an accident. And here I really wanted a mug of mulled cider tonight too. Gavin's even more upset as he can't have it even when it's done.
Guess I'll be making another trip to the fair for fresh cider. Oh and Call ducks hehehe.

In regards to this question, sorry for the grossness, but do any of your chickens try to eat dog doo?

. Just wondering if this a problem... My instincts tell me they probably wouldn't if they are well fed and happy.
Hard to say, but my well fed dogs love to eat chicken poop. Turn about is fair play, I suppose.

I'm assuming you mean 'really old, polyester stretch pants wearing grandma'?

Not the semi-tall, fat, but young-minded type like myself..... Just had to tease you a bit...

Actually, with the exception of undies and an occasional LL Bean purchase, I shop almost exclusively at thrift stores. Mostly I buy expensive brand names I'd never spring for at full price.

Poor kiddo.. Once when my DS was in elementary school, I accidentally sent a thermos of hard cider in his lunch. Embarrassing for both of us.

Thanks, Heather!

Now.... If there anyone out there local who would want 2 large bantam Chocolate Orps? These are from Pampered Poultry and are the 7-9lb 'bantams'. I paid $100 each. Asking $20 each. If not, I'm gonna eat them! Seriously. Their drumsticks are feeling pretty meaty....

Happy Belated Birthday Blarney!! It was nice meeting you, Fisherlady & Radioman, this weekend! I learned a bunch, and now my head is spinning!!! Missy- you are not good at stalking. LittleMiss- I forgot to mention that the coral bells that I got from you are looking great! Thanks!!
I'm also on the sorry but Happy Belated Birthday, Blarney! Galgo...I stalk just fine....when I don't have 5 littles orbitting....and not following instructions....and deciding that they needed to throw up.....in my hand.....in a class...... yeah...grand weekend. Fisherlady and Radioman, nice meeting you! Sorry I couldn't stick around...but the littles were going to be used for butchering if I didn't get them out of there then.
RANT. RANT. RANT I need new clothes and can not find anything that is suitable Why are new clothes stained And have holes in already Do they make jeans that cover the butt crack Why wold I want the legs to flare out wen the rest of me does that all by itself OK,,,I admit my closet is stuck in the 80's and will remain there.?. But really can they make normal clothes anymore And my one let peeve,,,,why are today's styles so skimpy when 90 percent of society is overweight...
I agree....it's especially difficult with my size changing as frequently as it is right now. I want good quality, semi-fashionable (not what's in fashion now, but not a mumu!) and not super expensive.
Just a fun little question: Has there ever been something that one of your chickens WOULDNT eat? In my case there hasn't been anything they wouldn't eat, or even anything they wouldn't go nuts over! They even eat stuff they're not supposed to like dirt and feces.
Mine won't eat onions.
Yay!!! Went and checked on the eggs under my Scovie and all 5 are piped!!! Yay!!!!
Pics when they hatch!!!
