People with shopping for clothes issues. I have a place for you. It called one stop plus. I know it says plus, but they have every size you can imagine. For example I am tall, fat, and not a grandma. I can find clothes there. I have a friend who is a short, fat, also not a grandma that can find clothes there. Then there one of my other friends who is skinny but because of her height, not a small size. She is tall, average weight, and also a professional. She had found clothes there also. The prices are not to bad either, and they always have sales and coupons.

In regards to this question, sorry for the grossness, but do any of your chickens try to eat dog doo?

. Just wondering if this a problem... My instincts tell me they probably wouldn't if they are well fed and happy.

My dog will follow them around..just waiting...

My girls don't eat: celery/carrots/eggplant..onions..or waste, they only eat strawberries if i cut them & put them in yogurt or their feed...very picky chickens...I didn't make them that way, they came that way..

Ohhh boy...went to have a glass of the cider I just bought at the fair the other day. Looks like I have 1.5 gals of applejack started...only this time it was an accident. And here I really wanted a mug of mulled cider tonight too. Gavin's even more upset as he can't have it even when it's done.
Guess I'll be making another trip to the fair for fresh cider. Oh and Call ducks hehehe.

All the styles they have "near" my size is a bit "hoochie"...sorry, only word for it....I don't need ripped pants, and I certainly don't need to have my belly sticking out!! What is out there for 40yr olds to were?? yeah, that do not make you look like you were born in the 1910's....okay.....

Applejack = hard cider. Apple cider that has fermented to alcohol, but not yet vinegar.
For those buying ACV. If your cider turns hard and you don't drink it all, put it in a warm dark area in a container with a large open top. Cover top with cheese cloth and wait. It will turn into natural ACV. You can jump start it with a little vinegar with mother if you want.

Chick-a-dee is getting so big!! Had to move the yard run to the now "permanent" location..in front of the coop, makes things more convenient!!...thinking it will be staying now for good...the girls have learned that they have the ability to dig to China...so...one area/one mess.

Hard to say, but my well fed dogs love to eat chicken poop. Turn about is fair play, I suppose.

I'm assuming you mean 'really old, polyester stretch pants wearing grandma'?

Not the semi-tall, fat, but young-minded type like myself..... Just had to tease you a bit...

Actually, with the exception of undies and an occasional LL Bean purchase, I shop almost exclusively at thrift stores. Mostly I buy expensive brand names I'd never spring for at full price.

Poor kiddo.. Once when my DS was in elementary school, I accidentally sent a thermos of hard cider in his lunch. Embarrassing for both of us.

LOL I almost did that last year, thankfully I smell and/or taste almost everything before I give it to him. I'd rather buy him the pasteurized cider for him to drink, since it doesn't turn as quickly, if at all, but there's something that's so yummy and nostalgic about fresh pressed. We have a trio of call ducks to pick up on Sat so I'll be picking more cider up at the same time. I'll probably stick some in the freezer this time though.

I was kidding about the projectile vomiting but I am pretty sick. My sister had it last week. Now me and dad have it.

Gavin had that Friday, I've just had a lovely sick to my stomach one for about 2 weeks.

Applejack is just hard cider, at least as far as I know. I know some people put cinnamon or mulling spices into theirs while it's fermenting, and usually I would have put a cinnamon stick or two and added some sugar, but this time it really was an accident. I think it was just a little too warm the other day to have been walking around with it for as long as we did.
We had some frost last week over this way, although I don't think they called for it on the weather.
