Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I would love to have him but I'm way over in the edge of Ohio. He's gorgeous & would fit well with my rainbow flock of colored egg layers.
Hmm, too bad we're not going out that way for a few months. DH & I both graduated from Grove City College, so we're back for reunions & whatnot. But we're not going out until April, and these guys could really use homes before then if possible.

:)

Why do we always have to get a snow storm and arctic conditions for the Farm Show? Not going to take as many birds as we planned-that's just too much stress on them, even if we hope to sell a few down there.

Quote: you dont have to be npip to have a healthy flock, its all in the testing and finding out before you spread disease and being OVERLY OVERLY cautious bringing stuff in....

Vaccinations, I still havent decided what I will do or not, I dont want to use a live virus vaccine and some I cant find in other forms at least for sale yet, so I will wait a few months and when I have time research and research to make sure I am doing what is best for my own flock and since I sell for others getting my eggs and birds.

Happy new year!

Do you guys have Pinterest? I have one and made a "Post your Pinterest usernames" thread. All I got was crickets.

My name's DreaminOfFarmin if any of you wanna follow/creep. I have all farm/homesteading related posts.

If you don't have a pinterest account i highly recommend it! There are so many cool coop/diy ideas! I absolutely love it and am getting tons of mew ideas for my coop that I'm building in spring!

Half of my flock is headed to auction tomorrow. I'm keeping 50 adults & about 5 chicks. I have 30 adults & about 15 chicks & juveniles headed out. With moving twice in less than a month I just can't afford to feed them all right now. Plus watering all those ducks in winter is a royal pain!
