Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I've got snow out front n mud out back...no green that I see.

BTW I really think Punxsutawney Phil is wrong, have blue birds here, feels kind of early for them.

I'm still all snow except for a couple of paths...have seen bluebirds, cardinals, and the woodpeckers have arrived....

Aww, she is beautiful. Great pics Heather!

Nice to see the discussion of other (crazy?) people spending the bucks or creative energy at least on chicken surveillance and comfort. If I totaled up the "cost" of the chickens vs. the cash I've spent to make their lives and mine a bit easier, people who don't "get" the chicken thing would have me committed.
One of our best investments actually was a remote weather station... We can see the temp and humidity in the coop from the comfort of our kitchen and adjust accordingly.

I will be sending an order in to sandhill for the april 29th hatch...

If anyone wants to add to the order let me know....I can not be held responsible for any that do not make it though...you all know how shipping chicks can be......pick up would have to be within the week of delivery...

I would like to have this order together and sent in by the end of the month.....

my order will consist of 10 assorted dorking, 5 buckeye, and 10 assorted bantam....keep in mind that they limit the number on any one breed..
