I know I should know this...But I am tring to figure out what I want to add to my flock this spring since I lost a few this winter I have some room...I know I want to EE cause they lay blue and green eggs....Which Hens lay the Chocolate eggs?
just had an interesting conversation with a co worker,,,they are headed to the dragon tomorrow in search of pheasant meat,,, when they told me what they were willing to pay, I was floored,,,,they said it is a delicasy.....welll when I was growing up that kind of meat only cost you the price of the lead,,,,,,,,how times change.....can you even find wild pheasant in pa anymore..???
by the way, I would love to have a pheasant pen, just do not see much of a market for it.....they are beautiful birds though....
