My, my, my you guys sure have busy today! Took me what felt like forever to get caught up reading all the posts. Lol.

Welcome everyone who is new! I also have two Pekin ducks. A drake and a hen. Will be trying to hatch some of their eggs here in the next few weeks.

So, had quite a day with the kids all home... What the heck is up with the schools these days!!! We hardly had two inches of snow and they canceled school! So the kids were fighting all day till I finally took them all out of the house to do some running. Then when we get back home I find out that our youngest boy has a fever 101. F. Again He never said a word while we were out, never complained about a thing.. oh well, that's kids...

Oh on the germ thing.... We never, yes never, use antibacterial soap here if I can help it. I believe in our bodies needing to build up their own resistance to things.

Um, ok I know there was more I wanted to say but forgot what it was..Lol

Love the new Avatar! I was laughing so hard when I saw it the kids came to check on me. I think Silkiesensations has both Royal Palm and Slate, and Reyvaugh (also nice new Avatar) has the bourbon Red, so you're all set!

Can this day be over yet?! I now have three out of four kids sick. My DH's truck let him sit not far from his work. Had to have my mother in law come over to watch the kids so I could go rescue the hubby with the AAA card. Which for some reason is only in my name.... Now we are sitting along the side if the road waiting for a roll back truck and what do they send..... A regular tow truck.. For a full size, extended cab, 4x4 pickup truck! Ugh
