The first 11/32 have hatched. 3 more were drying in the bator when I headed to bed. Sounds like several more have joined them but kids are sleeping next to bators so no lights til morning. Most had already pipped & several were zipping.

That's adorable the kids sleeping by the bator. I did that for my first bath. This time the bator's on my nightstand! Me and my bed have an unbreakable bond

And also won't have the penetration power of a rifle which is a good thing in your residential area.

That shot will fly, hit the fox and disperse. Won't go through anybody's walls and hit them or their kids.

I have a crossbow we could use to get it with.. None of the neighbours would know anything happened... lol

So, from what I have found out, looks like I am in the market for a new rooster. Seems as if my SS roo may be infertile or almost there ( he is over five years old now) Anyone have a young but mature rooster they want to get rid of? Lol
