Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hello! My name is Trish. I just joined here and I'm from Canonsburg, PA. (I grew up in Eighty Four, I didn't move far... LOL) Does anyone know Canonsburg laws for keeping chickens? Thanks!

Howdy from Chester Co...laws can be at the county or township level...sometimes the township just re-iterates county regs...most likely they are posted somewhere on-line.

Thank you for all the feeder comments!
Yep, Troyer, guess they do!
The idea is similar to many used in making wild bird feeders, I just did it to attach to a wall instead of hang from a tree limb...
everything except the hinges were scrap materials I had laying around from other building projects.... so cost was about $2 apiece for the big one and $1 each for the little ones.

I've made a couple similar feeders including a two sided one in a split coop. Love that I can dump a bag or two in and have feed available for a week or two. I use them as supplemental feeders to the bowls of fermented.

Troyer, your bird are beautiful!

Welcome all the new people!
Wingstone, I am having eggs shipped to you, just a heads up. They will be turkey from silkie sensation sometime in the next week or two. Gives me an excuse to come over and get some of those containers. Could use some straw, too. My truck is dead, so not sure how much I can haul. I'd love about six bales.

Eight chicks out this weekend, a few more zipping, not sure why I do this, lol.

Oh and this baby is about a month old.

I don't think any of us know why we do this! LOL but we are glad we do!
That bunny is absolutely adorable! I wish I wasn't allergic to them! When I was a kid we raised meat rabbits... they were so neat to raise.
