They look like narraganset poults to me. Maybe a breed of bronze turkey...? Just guesses. They don't look like bourbon red to me. Or Spanish, or narras. Or slates. Does that help narrow it?LMP so far we have Eva for the lil girl and Egan for the little boy, the big boy hasn't been named, but I'm loving all the suggestions I'm getting here, THANKS! So for you turkey experts... Here are the 'Royal Palm' poults that aren't looking much like Royal Palm. I feel really bad for MsLadyHawke as I think she really wanted a Royal Palm for a friend. Any guesses here? MLH thought perhaps Red Bourbon...![]()

altho this is an april fools joke, we already think its happened , we have a schippeke that won't tough the mcnuggets, he smells it, turns his head or walks away, on the other hand the frenchie grabs it and swallows it without chewinghttp://inhabitat.com/mcdonalds-to-add-lab-grown-chicken-mcnuggets-to-its-menu/
disgusting!
Checked on the babies before bed and they seem to be adjusting to the coop just fine. Most were in a big cuddle puddle but a few were roosting. Of course not on the roost bars lol but on the ledge to the nest boxes that aren't built yet. Oh well, they'll figure it out eventually.
Need some help to fill an order...
Sorry if anyone is grossed out
I need to do a bator full of balut, can I use Muscovy eggs and if so should they stay in longer than other duck eggs
Sorry again to those that can not even imagine this, but all the info I find just says duck eggs. Some say mallard eggs better but do not give details.
CC, I may need some duck eggs from your neighbor if I can not use muscovy

None of the folks I grew up with much cared what kind of duck laid the balut. So long as the size is right and the egss sufficiently "crunchy" your customers won't mind.![]()
Your quite welcome.. I love the breed, if it wouldn't be for the mud not mixing well with the feathered feet, I would get the big cochin
