Where we live now there aren't any good paying jobs. My hubby drives to NJ (1 1/3 hours one way every day, 6 days a week) for his job. You can't live on the pay around here.

Wow.. and I thought my half hour drive was bad, but yea, it is the same here, we may be Lancaster county but very few people get to work in this town, most have at least a half hour drive...

Don't move here. We have a small house on about 1/4 acre. We pay about 2000 in taxes. We grew up in this area so we love it and all our family is here, but it has exploded. In the Philly burbs, we are close to everything, so it is very desirable and I suspect why it is so pricey. But my Hubby has a 2 block (yes, he can walk to work) commute, except when he does house calls, which is almost every day.

My Hibby has such a short commute, but that's because he works for himself, andI found this office location when I was out walking my dog. Really!

Since I'm in the same township as wingstone's farm, I'll say ditto. Five acres, 4000ish. Not enough land to be clean and green. A lot depends on the value of the house and improvements. Township to township in this area varies widely. Zoning also varies greatly township to township. Even within townships.

Have you tried any of that canned chicken?
We are waiting on what you think of it.....some of those birds would of been tough any other way, wondering if canning made a difference
