Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I think I just broke some kind of record!!
Dh pointed out a buffalo. In under an hour, I got him to agree to raising buffalo!!
Yes, I know their needs (minimum 10 to a herd, and 15acres a head) but he agreed, and that is the victory!!

That is impressive! Hard to keep on an 18 wheeler though, aren't they?

So for Thanksgiving, I am hosting this year and it's my first time. Going to try this technique:

http://foodwishes.blogspot.com/2014/11/whole-boneless-thanksgiving-turkey-as.html

Just tried it tonight with one of Wing's chickens (it was a small one too!) and it worked! I did it on the first try with just a cheap paring knife. It's cooking in the oven now, will post pics when it is done, if I remember.....

:drool

The weather was beautiful today LMP, I got 8 cans of leaves done, lots of cleaning and cooking. :yesss:

Hi All, I'm in Washington Co, just outside of Pittsburgh, taxes are no too bad and lots of oil and gas companies hiring and paying well. I have only 5 girls right now, 3 rir and a couple of mixed breeds and one roo. Looking for a few more come spring.

LMP, I'd be up there in a jiffy if you weren't so far away. Especially if I could have some garlic. Love that stuff. Made that deboned chicken tonight, making stock from the bones now, just made dark chocolate caramel coins, and roasted pumkin seeds tonight. I love a good cooking frenzy!

....nice presentation too!
Aaaaarggggghh. Tractor Supply didn't have the heated dog water bowl. Their website said they did. Calico wants $50 for a heated water bucket. Walmart and Pet Smart were no better. Time to make the cookie tin hester, I guess.
oh man..that just happened to us too..seriously, the website stated the store in Williamsport-at the mall, had the 3 pk of syringes...well..it didn't and we ended up having to buy a 6 pk..not that biggie of a deal, but still. I can NOT wait till the Lock Haven store opens!!
I think MC ( Abi), had made one of those cookie-tin heaters, if i am not mistaken..
