Hey wingstone!!

a lady on one of the broody hen threads is looking at getting a couple of bantam cochin hens as broodies. She is wondering how they fare in poor weather or mud... upkeep needs or problems in general.
I thought you had them... if you do could you go over to the thread and just give her a quick run down. She has helped many times on the thread and I'd like to see her get some good info to work from.

Happy Thanksgiving all! Chances are that I won't be on at all tomorrow or Friday for that matter (SHOPPING!) Happy shopping on Friday too, to everyone as crazy as I am who goes out and braves the crowds :)

..hahaha...I like the barred rock!!




here in Clinton Co.-(middle of the state), we were a lot more fortunate than others...although, we have an entire winter to get hammered!

We have about an inch in the backyard. The chickens act like the snow is alive..they have been hanging out in the coop for the last couple days...
It is sunny right now, but that is very mis-leading, it is pretty darn cold out there.
