Welcome from the other side of the state!I'm located in SW PA, just south of the Butler County line in Beaver County. Will be looking for Buff Orpingtons or Australorps soon if anybody in the area knows of some (can't have chicks at this time so need them a little older)There's another thread about that out there somewhere.

Wing, you are totally justified to raise your prices. Need help filling a few orders? I can help you out there. I know of other people who would like some quality meat,m I didn't want to overload you, because before you said you were selling a lot. And those chicks are cute!Just stopping in to say Hello Time is in short supply around here lately. Hope everyone is well, not reading back all those missed pages... Could use a little advice though.. We raised our chicken prices to $2 a pound this year and people are backing out saying they can buy it at the store cheaper. Well if they can find chemical free chicken cheaper elsewhere, I say let them. Just curious on opinion on this matter.. Guess I need to go set up some advertising since I am now sitting on unsold chicken... The newest set of nuggets found the water quickly. Sure don't want dry nuggetsThis one seems a little mad about something![]()

Plantain has a leaf that looks very similar to Hosta, they are related. Many have leaves that can get around the size of a small Apple, and parallel lines running run the center or the whorl to the tips of the leaves. I believe they are very high in vitamin C.lord do i need the one for the upset stomach lately, thanks , not sure but my other half might know what the plantain is since he was raised up here and i'm sure we have it, seems we have lots of weeds on the 5 acres
Glad to hear she got that "hair ball" (sand ball?) out of her system.![]()

the girls are enjoying the sun, it is finally making it's way to warming-up the run...i have to get a pic of all of them snuggling in the sun-rays..like a bunch of cats
have 6 laying out of 7 birds..that "splash" Marans isn't laying yet...soon though..soon...
We did get that "item" from Cordon's (blrw) throat..I had used some "lubricant" (vetRX)..and kept massaging..she had cough really hard at one point and wet sand smacked me in the face..gross
.., but it helped, must have swallowed something that got coated in sand-then stuck tight in there,..now she is all good...not straining/coughing..all is well in Chicken land once again..
