I am trying to find a feed I can mix 50/50 scratch grains. Hoke mills didn't seem like they wanted to order it for me, but we will see if they call me back. I just found online that agway feeds sells one that is similar. But when I checked the dealer locator it has nothing close to me that sells it. Anyone know where I could find these or something similar?
I live in York county, and travel to Lebanon once a month so needs to be close.
Thanks

I'm going to go out on a limb and day I don't feed properly. I have a habit of not doing things "right".

That said, I feed 60-40 layer pellets and scratch semi- fermented, I leave some original ferment in the bucket, add feed, water to cover plus a little, use next day, repeat.

I've been feeding this for over 6 months and everyone seems to be doing fine. Before that, same thing, except at 70-30. My birds do have plenty of dirt to play in, and some grass plus table scraps and whatever else I toss in the run.

I use Davis feed in bucks county for my broiler pellets and layer feed but with this weather, my birds are out and about. My layers just follow me as I roll logs and split wood! They love the bugs!

These mix mallards I'm not sure what they are love this weather too, they are loud but the neighbors all have birds so it's all good! Had to eat one roo, he turned on is and attacked anything that moved. My jersey giant roo is in charge now and the girls are happier with just one boss. The ducks follow him I think they think that they are chickens!

Come to the Delmont TSC swap tomorrow morning. The hot time to be there is around 830 or 9. :) You may find what you're looking for, I always see ameraucanas there.

Oh, that's a great idea! I never know when it is, and I always miss it. I have a few bantams to try to pawn off as well. Thanks!

Were you there? I had the grey call drake and the orpington chicks for sale.

Is she about full size at 20 weeks, or will she continue to grow? She seems so petite compared to my other girls. I wasn't able to see your chickens in person, so I have nothing to compare her to.
Cubalaya are not usually finished growing/filling out until they are 3 years old. So yes she will get a little bigger than she is now. The breed is known to be slow to mature, there are some lines that are pretty much finished at 2 years, but most will be finished at 3.

I used to ferment my feed. Problem is my silkies get it everywhere, in their beard and their crest. I like to keep them as clean as possible so it's easier to bathe before shows.
