e. I remember telling you that I wasn't sure my Bantam Cochin was going to actually be a mother. She has been fantastic, a natural! The two hens are still cooperating and raising the chicks together. They all sleep in the same nest box still! Those bantam Cochin chicks are the cutest ever! Maybe it's because they stay small and fluffy? Any who, the other broody is still sitting on all 14 eggs! I asked my hubby to guess how many would hatch. He says 9, I say 11. I wonder if the other two mothers might share and take some of the new chicks under their wings? 
Has Adams good nature awarded him a Thanksgiving pardon?
