I have noticed this once in a while with pullets or with a larger than normal egg and have always attributed it to the 'growing pains' as you mentioned.hello all! I have not been following posts for awhile..............there are so many that I just had to jump to the latest...........
I have a newly laying wyandotte chicken and I have noticed some blood on the outside of the egg shell.
She has started laying maybe 2 weeks ago.
Its not a large amount of blood.............but I am wondering if I should be doing something to help her or is it just "growing" pains?
thanks in advance.
Houston, we have a problem!
I might be away for New Years. And I won't be back until the third. Fine if all goes well. Not if any duckings hatch early or need help.
Hmmm... I think I might need a flock sitter.
