We are tucked in safe and sound here...no desire to be out at all, having worked nearly 30 years in EMS I have no need to be out on holidays! Besides, Lacey's eggs are pipping so we will be busy watching new chicks tomorrow (hopefully).

Not yet that we know of, they are with a broody, in fact she is becoming a super broody, this is her 4th hatch within a year! Lacey is one of our Silver Pencils and one of my sweetest hens, she does seem to love raising littles...

Yes, thank you for sharing Fisherlady! I'm so excited, I just picked up some turkey eggs from Dheltzel for my broody girl. Fingers crossed we get at least two.

We got 3 duck eggs today! The call ducks are blowing my mind with how well they're laying. 3 out of 4 are laying an egg a day. A few of them are a few years old too. I plan to collect them and set them on January 9th.
