I use wazine 17 to but it is only for round worms that's why I don't like it but it works for roundworms. If you are having problems with roundworms and if u use it u have to wait 14 days until u can eat the eggs again. use one teaspoon per gallon of water give them the wormer in the water and give it to them as soon as u let them out in the morning and save it until the next morning is what I do. And then once they get a drink then the day after u give it to them and change there water and then wait 14 days to eat the eggs again but u can feed the eggs back to the chickens if u want. Good luck

Murray McMurray has rainbows labeled as pioneers (says they're rainbows a little bit down in the description). They were supposed to be a new line of ranger broilers (saw them a lot as "rainbow" broilers or "calico" broilers) but their reviews on carcass quality are very mixed, so they're marketed as dual purpose now. I've never tried them

Reese line CCLs, waiting to be banded. 3 obvious boys, 2 obvious girls, 3 that I'm not sure about yet lol. One egg looks to have quit, 1 just hatched but is still in the bator (looks like a girl) and two left are pipped.

Good Morning everyone. I hope everyone is having a great morning. I am here watching my chicks play and scratch in the brooder,they seem to grow every time I look away lol. My question this morning is when can I introduce grit and treats to the little gals? I know alot of folks say 2 weeks but I was thinking if they were being raised by old momma hen they would be eating what she eats (ie ...grit bugs grass worms). My little gals are 5 days old I am,thinking on introducing them to grit and some freeze dried meal worms as an occasional treat along with some hardboiled eggs and some finally diced veggies.

I counted the white headspots. I the basket pic, I see 4 white spots, that's why I concluded it was 4 males. One's head is a little obscured, so it could be 5,but definitely 4. That's not too bad. My Legbar hatches tend to be slightly female heavy, but close to 50/50. 4 pairs of Reese Legbars is a great start, I'm pleased they traveled and hatched so well.

Kudos to you for handling them so well in transit.
